“For most of us,
the first years of A.A.
are something like
a honeymoon.
. . .
“But when the honeymoon
has worn off, we are obliged
to take our lumps, like other people.”

Beware of the “Pink Cloud.”
Just because you sobered up does not mean that
life will stop having its ups and downs.
Balance in your life and a realistic approach to living
are the rewards of the A. A. program that is utilized
on a daily basis.
Have faith, if God brings you to it ,
He will see you through it.
Recovery is to survive after the honeymoon is over.
Sobriety is a blessing from a Higher Power.
