If it has worked for 80 years,

why change the tradition.

We have no dues or fees

but we do have expenses,

please donate if you can.

Today, be an active part of your home group,

hopefully they have a monthly business meeting

and the treasurer will give a report.

Enjoy the coffee and the free advice.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

for A. A. membership

is a desire

to stop drinking.”

No dues or fees, no initiation, no black balls,

just an HONEST desire to stop drinking.

Even though the tradition does not include

the word honest, those who know

H O W, it works,

Honesty, Open-mindedness and Willingness,

are mindful of the suggestion from page 58

of the Big Book.

Today, keep your desire burning, work your program,

go to a meeting, talk with another from the fellowship,

pray, meditate and enjoy the sober life

that is happy, joyous and free.

Recovery is one day at a time.
