Inventory Taking

.

Inventory taking is

not always done

in red ink.

It’s a poor day indeed

when we haven’t

done something

right.”

The negative thinking, pessimistic drunk is always

looking for the worst in things while the recovering

alcoholic must learn to see the positive side of things.

Remember, not having a drink, one day at a time

is the most positive thing that a drunk can do on any given day

and for that his daily inventory should end with a positive.

Recovery is to have gratitude for the things done right.

Sobriety is a blessing from a Higher Power.

Our Whole Society

.

“Just as each A.A.

must continue to take

his moral inventory

and act upon it, so must

our whole Society

if we are to survive

and if we are to serve

usefully and well.”

In what condition is your home group  ? ? ?

How healthy is your District ? ? ?

How salubrious is your Area ? ? ?

If you are not sure, ask your Intergroup Rep,

ask your GSR, ask your DCM, ask your Area Delegate,

and hopefully they will have nothing but glowing reports

on how the message is being carried to the General Service Conference

and eventually to the  still suffering alcoholic.

Today, be a part of A.A.  and make sure that as a part of

the group conscious you are doing the best to make

A.A. a morally responsible organization.

Recovery is to continue to take a moral inventory

of self and A.A. as a whole.

Sobriety is a blessing from a Higher Power.
