God Does Better

Want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans.
Be careful what you pray for,
you might just get it.
When given a chance, doing the next right thing,
usually produces consequences that far exceed
any of one’s wildest dreams.
Today, be aware of the chances
and ask your Higher Power to give you the courage
to do the next right thing and learn to accept
God’s choice of consequences.
Recovery is accepting God’s world just as it is.
Sobriety is a blessing from a Higher Power.
