We must get along together so that we can help each other
stay sober and enjoy a better life, one day at a time.
The Traditions were pounded out by trial and error.
History is the best teacher and the early founders
of AA were well read as to the accounts of all of the movements
that came and went during the time of recorded history.
What mistakes the failures made were the ones the Traditions
try to avoid.
Most important, humbly trying to keep the egos in check.
Additionally, the Traditions are a tool that helps the fellowship stay sober,
