Trust Me

But does trust

require that we

be blind to other

people’s motives

indeed to our own.”

As Bill Sees It      p 144

Trust me, but how far? ? ?

Remember, I was an active alcoholic that was

always practicing the art of lying, cheating and stealing.

Today, I would like to say that I am always as honest as Abe,

however, I have been know to relapse

into that old stinking thinking and I should be trusted

only as far as the next prayer and or meeting that we

say together or attend together.

Repeat after me,

“Trust is earned, one sober step at a time.”

Recovery is  learning how to trust.

Sobriety is a blessing from a Higher Power.
