Burned Out

.

“We do not tire

so easily, for we

are not burning up

energy foolishly

as we did when we were

trying to arrange life

to suit ourselves.”

.

The drunk faced the Gordian Knot and

thought the solution was to have another drink.

Myth or legend, the alcoholic lived by any

imaginary means that was required

to keep the supply forthcoming.

The recovering soul gathered his wits

and was able to resolve the dilemma,

don’t drink, don’t think and let go and let God

do for you what you could not do for yourself.

Today, free yourself from the bondage of alcoholism,

pray.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
