A Position of Neutrality

.

“We are not fighting it,

neither are we avoiding temptation.

We feel as though we

had been placed in

a position of neutrality –

safe and protected.

We have not even sworn off.

Instead, the problem has been removed”

.

.

We don’t even have to think about the problem.

As we work the steps

and the promises begin to come true,

we no longer dwell on the obsession and compulsion,

we begin to have a life,

a life that we are glad to share with others.

The most amazing thing is;

others want to hear our story.

Today, let go and let God

and know that the fight is over.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

.

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
