The Lodestar Of Hope

.

“Every one of the pioneers

in the total field

of alcoholism

will generously say …

A.A. was the lodestar

of hope and help

that kept them at it.”

.

As Bill Sees It,   p. 147

.

Most Doctors had given up on the drunk as hopeless

thinking that there was no possible cure for the malady.

A. A. and the disease concept has shown the world

that there is a recovery possible,

albeit only on a daily reprieve

based on sound spiritual principles,

but a recovery for many that has lasted a lifetime.

Today, for the millions of helpless who have recovered

from the compulsion and obsession to drink alcoholically

A.A. has been the beacon that has guided their ship.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

.

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
