Promise #10

“Fear of people

and of economic

will leave us.”

BB p 84

Better know as the Ninth Step promises,

it is understood that the sooner one works the steps,

honestly and to the best of their abilities,

the sooner the promises begin to come true.

As the drunk it was all about the ego.

Selfish and self centered we harmed many people

emotionally, physically and materially.

It was more important to have the money

for the next fix than it was to take care

of moral responsibilities.

In sobriety, if you harm no one, you fear no one.

In sobriety, if you are morally responsible,

God will provide,

just make sure that you are doing

the honest footwork.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
