.. the full meaning of Step Ten

and the word ‘continued.’

‘Continued’ does not mean

occasionally, or frequently.

It means throughout

each day.”

.

As a drunk, the concern was always

with the inventory of the other guy.

In recovery, the alcoholic is always seeking

to do the next right thing and when there

is a mistake, we take your inventory

and make amends to those that we may have harmed.

We do this so that we may assure ourselves

that we will harbor no guilt or shame or

any of the ill feelings that were once a reason to drink.

Today, feel the feelings

and when the feeling is uncomfortable

take an inventory and be willing to right the wrong.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
