The Constant Effort

“To these problems,

there are certainly

no pat answers.

But part of the answer

surely lies in

the constant effort

to practice all

of A.A.’s Twelve Steps.”

As Bill Sees It,   p. 30

.

Many a drunk shows up in the rooms with additional baggage,

be it family, legal, mental, physical, other addictions,

or whatever the problem may be,

if one does not stay sober, non of the other problems

are going to go away.

The constant effort to work the steps, stay sober

and do the next right thing usually helps to resolve

any additional issues that the recovering alcoholic

may encounter.

Today, stay sober, one step at a time,

one problem at a time.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
