At The Expense Of Others

November Roses 010

.

While we may be

quite willing to

reveal the very worst,

we must be sure to

remember that we

cannot buy our own

peace of mind

at the expense of others.”

.

Twelve and Twelve,  p. 84

.

The analogy is the caterpillar ( the drunk),

begins to emerge from the cocoon ( the addiction)

and voila, there is a butterfly ( the sober soul).

Flying free both the butterfly and

the recovering alcoholic must be careful

not to soar above the pink cloud,

life for both of them requires that they follow

their instincts and do the will of God.

Today, share the love, share the blessings

and most importantly, do no harm.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

.

ME and the Boss

.

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
