Persist In Prayer

October Roses 044

“A man who
persist in prayer
finds himself in
possession of great gifts.
When he has to deal
with hard circumstances,
he finds he can face them.
He can accept himself
and the world around him.”

AS Bill Sees It,   p. 293

It’s another promise.

This one shows up in the Grapevine, June 1958,

and again on page 293 of As Bill Sees It.

The simple exercise of prayer

is the spiritual foundation of good sobriety.

Prayer is asking for guidance from a Higher Power

that you may always attempt to do

the next right thing.

Pray for others, learning through faith

that good karma will always be returned

freely to those who serve.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
