“We reviewed our

fears thoroughly.

We put them on paper,

even though we had

no resentment in

connection with them.”

BB,   p. 68

The ego of the active alcoholic

is a delicate flower which will wilt

as soon as someone looks at them cross-eyed.

Fears of all colors and shapes are always dancing

around in the foggy mind of the drunk,

paranoia is the by-word of the day – or night.

In sobriety, we list our sins and we also examine

the feelings of fear, rage, anger, jealousy,

those things that when we were drinking always

created problems for everyone.

When doing the steps, be thorough,

don’t forget to let God remove all of the defects

of character, even those feelings that prevent one

from enjoying a life that is happy, joyous and free.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
