No Better Choice

lanai (2)

“In short,

we chose to

become willing,

and no better

choice did we

ever make.”

As Bill Sees It,  p. 4

Many a drunk did very well at functioning,

had many a person fooled, they did,

but when it came time to look at themselves,

dysfunction became the byword.

Who wants to admit defeat,

who wants to see themselves as losers,

who wants to be an alcoholic ? ? ?

Just to become willing to change

was a  difficult choice that many an alcoholic

had to struggled with.

Today, just remain willing,

the change will eventually happen

in spite of yourself.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
