Is it true that I – of all people,
strange as it may seem
and even though I did not give
my permission – really, really
am an alcoholic of sorts.
And it’s all right with me.”

WOW, I’m an alcoholic ? ? ?
Just what I said I wanted to be when I grew up.
My disease was so strong that it had completely erased
the word alcoholic from my vocabulary.
I had a very vague idea of what alcoholism was
and it definitely did no apply too me.
after admitting that I was powerless over alcohol
and I acknowledged that I had a disease,
I was able to say, “Okay God”
what can we do about it.
Through the fellowship of A. A. my Higher Power
has given me direction, a reason and a purpose
to live a life that has been beyond my wildest dreams.
Recovery is one day at a time.
Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.
ME and the Boss
And, if no one has told you yet today,
God loves you and so do we.
