It is always the fault of someone or something else,
Heaven forbid that I should admit that I made a mistake,
either way, there was always a reason to drink.
A. A. taught me that the only reason I drank was because
I am an alcoholic.
Whatever reasons or justifications I had for drinking
had to be put aside, I had to learn to take
responsibility for my actions.
Today, accept, be willing, change and do as is suggested;
don’t drink, don’t think, go to a meeting,
and be the person your Higher Power wants you to be.
Recovery is one day at a time.
Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

And, if no one has told you yet today,
God loves you and so do we.
