“When told that our society
has no president having
authority to govern it,
no treasurer who can compel
the payment of any dues, . . .
our friends gasp and exclaim,
“This simply can’t be . . .”
Twelve and Twelve p 132
Principles before personalities, no popularity contest,
and twelve traditions;
our primary purpose is to stay sober
and to help those who desire the same.
Keep It Simple in Sobriety,
just show up and don’t drink one day at a time.
Like a magnet, the faith will arrive
and a desire to change will cause one
to become a part of the fellowship and
make them desire to be of service
so they may give back
what was so freely given to them.
Recovery is one day at a time.
Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

And, if no one has told you yet today,
God loves you and so do we.
