“If he does not argue about religion,
he will make new friends and is sure
to find new avenues of usefulness
and pleasure. . . . . . . .
He may bring new hope and new courage
to many a priest, minister, or rabbi,
who gives his all to minister
to our troubled world.”
BB p 132
Somewhere in the community;
be it the church, the school or the town hall,
the drunk who was once shunned
is now welcomed as a source of hope and courage.
There are many troubled souls in this world
and an alcoholic who has been there and done that
may be the best resource to carry the message of faith.
Today, stay sober and know that your Higher Power
will give you the chance to show some suffering soul
that there is an easier, softer way.
Recovery is one day at a time.
Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

And, if no one has told you yet today,
God loves you and so do we.
