“Next, we decided
in this drama of life,
God was going to be
He is the Principal;
we are His agents.
He is the Father,
and we are His children.”
BB p 62
There is a God and it is not me.
To be a winner we must first surrender.
The first three steps:
1. I can’t,
2. He can,
3. I think I’ll let Him.
Whatever the suffering alcoholic wants to call
his Higher Power is up to him,
as long as he doesn’t call Him ” me “.
Higher Power, God, Him, Her, It, Those, Them, They
or whatever name you wish to use
that makes one comfortable is fine.
However, one must realizes that one needs
to be open-minded and willing to change
for as long as you may remain sober ;
door knob today, God tomorrow.
Recovery is one day at a time.
Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.
ME and the Boss
And, if no one has told you yet today,
God loves you and so do we.
