But You Can

“We know what

you are thinking.

You are saying

to yourself:

‘I’m jittery and alone.

I couldn’t do that.’

But you can.”

BB p 163

Negativity rules the alcoholic thinking.

The disease wants the affected to fail,

to ruin everything, to find a justification

for every drink that was taken.

The Book was written by the first one hundred,

today there are millions, every one who had

an “I can’t do this” at the back of their mind

until they were willing to let go absolutely,

to let a Higher Power do for them

what they could not do for themselves.

Yes you can.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
