Willing and Honest

“If what we have learned

and felt and seen

means anything at all,

it means that all of us,

whatever our race, creed, or color

are the children of a living Creator

with whom we may form a relationship

upon simple and understandable terms

as soon as we are

willing and honest enough to try.”

BB p 28

Start simple, there is a Higher Power and it is not me.

The first three steps; I can’t, He can, I think I’ll let Him.

Quiet the noisy mind, for many the prospects of change

appears to be insurmountable, do not be dismayed,

you do not have to be perfect.

The stories of the long timers tells us that God

will eventually show up.

Today, just be willing and honest enough to try.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
