“We, who have traveled
this dubious path,
beg you to lay aside prejudice,
even against organized religion.
We have learned that whatever
the human frailties of various
faiths may be, those faiths
have given purpose and direction

Believe in what you want to believe
and know that those beliefs may change
as you grow in faith and understanding.
More important is that you allow others to believe
as they want to believe and it is not your duty
to make, insist, or want to change them
if they do not want to change.
Be grateful, keep it simple, don’t drink, stay sober
and learn from whatever tools others are using for their sobriety
because one day you may want to borrow a part of their
spiritual program even if their beliefs are based
on a religious philosophy that you may question.
If it works to keep you sober, work it.
Recovery is one day at a time.
Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

And, if no one has told you yet today,
God loves you and so do we.
