Your Own Conception

“When, therefore,

we speak to you

of God,

we mean your own

conception of God.”

BB p 47

Many lessons can arise from one simple concept;

I am no longer always right,

your idea does not require an argument from me,

words, such as God, have different meanings for each and every soul,

and words arouse different feelings in different people.

One of the biggest changes for the sober alcoholic

is the willingness to accept life on God’s terms,

not life on his terms.

Today, be willing to listen, refuse to argue,

accept that you are wrong fifty percent of the time,

and become a friend by respecting the feelings

of even the sickest soul.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
