Tact and Common Sense

We don’t use this

as an excuse for

shying away from

the subject of God.

When it will serve

any good purpose,

we are willing to

announce our convictions

with tact and common sense.”

BB p 77

Before making amends for our injustices to others,

we talk to our sponsor, we read the BB suggestions

and we heed the gut feeling that says ” be wise.”

“It is seldom wise to approach an individual,

who still smarts from our injustice to him,

and announce that we have gone religious.”  BB p 77

Today, recovery is between you and your Higher Power,

let the rest of the world see by your actions

that you are a changed person, the alcoholic who

by the grace of God did not have to drink today.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
