Useful Attitudes

“Most of us sense

that real tolerance

of other people’s

and viewpoints

and a respect

for their opinions

are attitudes which

make us more useful

to others.”

BB p 19 & 20

Many drunks were smart

before they began killing too many brain cells

and now they are no longer as smart as they thought they were.

Patience and tolerance, develop an attitude that says

I do not know every thing, I may sometimes be wrong.

Respect the drunk, they have a message for you,

one that is  being delivered through them,

given by your Higher Power specifically for you.

Being useful to others starts by setting a good example.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
