The Last Word

“Instead of

regarding ourselves

as intelligent agents,

spearheads of God’s

ever advancing Creation,

we agnostics and atheists

chose to believe that

our human intelligence

was the last word,

the alpha and the omega, the beginning and end of all.

Rather vain of us, wasn’t it?”

BB p 49

There is a God today, and it is not me.

Thanks to the steps of AA,

I now know that my God is mine and your God, or lack of God

is your problem, your concern, your vision and not mine.

Be willing to change;

change people, places and things,

change your mind,

change your attitude,

and be willing to humble yourself and say,

I don’t know.

Today, put aside the labels, don’t put yourself into a category,

be the person who took what they needed for todays sobriety

and left the rest for another day.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
