Step Nine

“9. Made direct amends

to such people

wherever possible,

except when to do so

would injure them

or others.”

BB p 59

Many, many suggestions regarding making amends;

read the book carefully, discuss the meaning and implications

with your sponsor or with another individual

who will understand why it is necessary to make amends

and do not rush willy-nilly into the fray without thinking

through the possible consequences of your actions.

Hopefully, by the time you are ready to do this step

you have found a God of your understanding

because many prayers for strength and courage

to work this step are usually needed.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
