No Matter What

“Reminding ourselves that we

have decided to go to any lengths

to find a spiritual experience,

we ask that we be given strength

and direction to do the right thing,

no matter what the personal

consequences may be.”

BB p 79

Our secrets will keep us drunk.

No matter who or what was at fault until we make amends,

apologize or make restitution we will harbor either guilt

or a resentment that will lead us back to the drink ;

the drink that will make us feel better,

the drink that will make us forget,

the drink that will kill us.

Today, clean house, think compassionately of others

and do the next right thing.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
