First Things First

“For us,

material well-being

always followed

spiritual progress;

it never preceded.”

BB p 127

When the grandiosity rules the thinking

the alcoholic is setting himself up for a slip.

Know the difference between wants and needs

and have faith the your loving Higher Power will provide.

For those who have had the obsessionĀ and compulsion

to drink removed, they must maintain a strong spiritual foundation

to receive the benefits of sober living.

Gratitude is a building block of a strong foundation.

Today, understand that without sobriety all material

well-being will quickly disappear.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
