“For myself,

I had adopted

those parts which

seemed convenient

and not too difficult;

the rest I disregarded.”

BB p 11

Before AA I did not understand the difference

between spirituality and religion.

Much like Bill I did not argue religion,

I just agreed with the parts that were easy

and the difficult beliefs I disregarded.

By following the suggestions outlined in the

Big Book and offered by those who have gone before me

I am now content to pray and meditate with the Higher Power

of my understanding.

Today, work your program, have faith knowing that in God’s time

you will intuitively know those things which used to baffle you.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
