Love and Tolerance

“We do talk

about each other

a great deal,

but we almost

invariably temper

such talk by a spirit

of love and tolerance.”

BB p 125

It is suggested that we do not compare ourselves with others,

we identify with the feelings.

It is not the drunk-a-log that matters,

it is the strength and hope in their message

that we need to discuss.

TheĀ positive attitude speaks of others in terms of progress,

or lack of progress, in their recovery journey so that

they may take what they need and leave the rest.

Learn what unconditional love is and have patience and tolerance

for the addictive personality who has yet to humble himself

to this simple program, but, above all, keep on talking.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
