“It is important

that he be able to

keep a confidence;

that he fully understand

and approve what we are

driving at;

that he will not try

to change our plan.”

BB p 74 & 75

Our secrets will keep us drunk.

The Big Book is very emphatic

that until we share our innermost secrets

and admitted to God, to ourselves and to another human being

our chances of recovery are slim to nil.

The Big Book also contains more than a few good suggestions

as to who that person could be and how to approach them

Today, protect your sobriety, do not fear telling on yourself.

You will usually find more than a few fellow travelers

who have already been down that path

and they will be willing to share their experience,

strength and hope with you.

Then it will be your turn to help another.

This is How It Works.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
