No Great Obstacle

“Many who once were

in this class (agnostics)

are now among

our members.

Surprisingly enough,

we find such convictions

no great obstacle to

a spiritual experience.”

BB pp 28 & 29

God deserted me, God hates me, God is punishing me,

if there is a God, why are there  illness’  like alcoholism,

cancer, dengue fever and Alzheimer ???

For the drunk who lives in misery it is difficult to believe,

have faith, that a loving Higher Power could restore us

to sanity and right living.

The Big Book contains an outline for a program  of living

that will do just that;

restore your faith, give you a new way of living

and relieve you of the misery of an alcoholic existence,

if you just take the steps, do the work

and follow a few simple suggestions.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
