The Experience

“Our fears fall from us.

We begin to feel

the nearness of our

We may have had certain

spiritual beliefs,

but now we begin to have

a spiritual experience.”

BB p 75

The normal person thinks, feels, feels and thinks,

whereas the alcoholic thinks, thinks of himself

and then thinks about who else can be blamed

for the current situation.

When the alcoholic is serious about changing,

willing to do the work and humbles themselves

before a loving Higher Power,

the feelings begin to return,

the thinking is restored to sanity,

and the spiritual experience begins

when they realize that God is doing for them

what they could not do for themselves.

Today, feel the spiritual experience.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
