“And acceptance is the answer
to all my problems today.
When I am disturbed,
it is because I find some
person, place, thing, or situation
—some fact of my life
—unacceptable to me,
and I can find no serenity until
I accept that person, place, thing,
or situation as being exactly
the way it is supposed to be
at this moment.
Nothing, absolutely nothing,
happens in God’s world by mistake.”
BB p 417 ( p 449 3rd Ed.)
There are some things that are just worth repeating.
This passage was originally quoted on Jan 1, 2014,
to initiate this series of posts and, as suggested, there cannot be
too many times in a day when this passage could and should
be reflected upon to help the alcoholic keep
their proper perspective on life.
Today, regardless of whether you suffer from alcoholism
or you are just an innocent bystander, this passage should
and must ring true within your heart if you want to live
happy, joyous and free.
Recovery is one day at a time.
Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

And, if no one has told you yet today,
God loves you and so do we.
