The Great Reality

“They had seen miracles,

and one was to come to them.

They had visioned

the Great Reality –

their loving and

All Powerful Creator.”

BB p 161

After a few dry days the fog in the brain begins to lift

and the realization of not having the obsession and compulsion

to drink begins to sink in.

Trying to identify the origin of the experience becomes impossible

and we are finally forced to admit that a miracle has occurred.

If we have been working the steps,

if we have been listening closely to the stories

of those who have gone before us,

we begin to understand that an All Powerful Creator,

the God of  your understanding,

has done for us what we could not do alone.

Today, give thanks to the Great Reality.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
