We Agree

“On one proposition, however,

these men and women

are strikingly agreed.

Every one of them has

gained access to,

and believes in,

a Power greater than himself.

This Power has in each case

accomplished the miraculous,

the humanly impossible.”

BB p 50

This simple humble expression

is the spiritual cornerstone for the recovering alcoholic,

“There is a God today, and it is not me.”

When one gains access, begins to believe in a

Higher Power of their understanding, the promise

is guaranteed that the compulsion and obsession

to drink will be lifted and the happy, joyous and free life

will begin to commence.

Today, trust in God, give Him the credit,

all others will have to pay in cash.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
