Ask God

“If we still cling

to something

we will not let go,

we ask God to help us

be willing.”

BB p 76

These are some of the  main character defects of the ego:

greed, self-destruction, arrogance, impatience, martyrdom and

stubbornness. Then add in resentments, bad habits, anger,

and a host of other sins and you have basically described the alcoholic.

Have faith, do not be  dismayed, most honest people cannot unload

a lifetime of darkness with a single prayer.

Be patient, let your Higher Power guide you and most of all

just be willing to let go and let God.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
