The Meeting

“Aside from fellowship

and sociability,

the prime object

was to provide

a time and place

where new people

might bring

their problems.”

BB p 160

The meeting attendance grew to such numbers

that the living room was soon not large enough

to hold the crowd.

The church basements and the community halls

not only provided enough room they also became

know focal points for AA groups that decided that

attraction rather than promotion was the best way to

ensure that the principles that they had set down

would best benefit those who wanted a better way.

Today, respect the rooms,

just as though it were your living room.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
