“Our very lives,

as ex-problem drinkers,

depend upon our constant

thought of others

and how we may help

meet their needs.”

Selfish, self-centered, arrogant and egotistical,

as the drunk it was all about me, me, me.

Although the Big Book is supposed to be

just a suggestion for those who want to solve

their problem with alcohol, there are more than

a few “musts” throughout the book.

Paramount to achieving the happy, joyous and free

it is imperative to get out of self and work with others.

Recovery is one day at a time.

Sobriety is a blessing from our Higher Power.

ME and the Boss

And, if no one has told you yet today,

God loves you and so do we.
