It is one of the ironies of life that it is so difficult to maintain

ones composure, but so easy to act the fool.

However, foolish is one of those words that has an

opinion attached to it.

Their opinion or your opinion.

“Those who wish to appear wise among fools,
among the wise seem foolish.”
~ Marcus Fabius Quintilian

Just ask God to let us be among friends when we lose it.

The most important thing is that when you and they

agree that you were acting foolishly, apologize.

One is no longer the fool when you know in your heart that

you acted inappropriately and were willing to make amends.

“Any fool can criticize,
condemn and complain
and most fools do.”
~ Benjamin Franklin

Remember that today, God has not appointed you

judge and jury for the rest of the world.

Maybe tomorrow you’ll get your chance.

How foolish of me, tomorrow never comes,

when midnight passes it will be today.

Do not be harsh to judge others foolish actions,

because we must remember that if their stunt had been

successful, we would have been praising them for their efforts.

What may be foolish for you to attempt may be to another

a road to contentment.

Foolish appears clearly only in hindsight.

He who laughs last, laughs the loudest.

Many a person who acted the fool,

laughed all the way to the bank.

It is only foolish when everyone agrees.

Be wise and learn from the foolish mistakes of others

before you make a fool of yourself.

Most importantly, try not to make anyone else look foolish.

Your Higher Power is a better score keeper than you are and

God will do a better job of making the fool look bad than you

could ever dream of.

Just make sure you are not the fool for seeking revenge.

Be absurd, do the ridiculous, take everything as insignificant,

and leave foolish to the fools.

Laugh loudly, Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly,

and Leave the rest to God.
